This is a multi velocity ambient drum sample pack created during the filming of our video for the song “Dominion Day. The video was shot at the Hanna Roundhouse, an early 1900’s rail yard building in Alberta, Canada. The drums sounded absolutely massive in there, so we took a stereo pair of SDC mics back about 100ft and captured these samples of each drum. They are ambient samples, meant to be used for when you need drums in a metal mix to sound absolutely huge and/or distant! The decay time on these samples is over 2 seconds long. You can use the resonance control in Slate Trigger to control how much decay each sample has. Very useful in the production of many metal subgenres.
